Thanks for the kind words Richard. We are based in the US. You can definitely put your keys in the pocket as long as you don't have anything real sharp on there...but then you wouldn't put real sharp things that close to your femoral artery anyway right!

These shorts sound awesome! Are you guys based in Australia??

Is it possible to put stuff like keys in the pockets, and go swimming in 'em? Must be. Then I won't have to put my keys somewhere on the beach when I go for a swim in Torquay.

Good work!

The rafting trip was awesome and the shorts were, too. I put matches, a lighter and hard candy in the waterproof bags. Everything came out perfectly dry, even after the rapids. I'm very happy. The shorts were totally comfortable and dried quickly. I love them. My only suggestion would be to make the hip pockets a little deeper.

I just got mine today. I'm impressed. I'm leaving on a 5 day oar trip through Cataract Canyon on Monday. That should give me a real good chance to evaluate them as river wear. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hello Chuck,
If the demand is there we will definitely make them for women. Most women's swimwear does not allow for a pocket large enough to hold the waterproof bag so that is why we have not produced them yet. We have some other ideas in the works for a women's line...top secret for now!

Thanks for your purchase and for taking the time comment on our blog. We would love to hear back from you once you have had a chance to put ClamUps to the test.

Thanks,
Pete & Colby

Absolutely! They are held in by Velcro®. It's snug so you won't lose the insert but easy enough when you want them out.
